North Somercotes playgroup was first established nearly 40 years ago as a voluntary group run by mothers.
In 1986 the playgroup became a registered charity, and is now run under the guidance of a committee.
The playgroup has been based in the Trinity Methodist Chapel in North Somercotes for the last 21 years.
